Once your case is filed you will be assigned one of the three Chapter 13 Trustees who cover the Northern District of Georgia. If you need to make a case payment you can make these directly on this site. You can also set up your account with the National Data Center to monitor all payments that you make and that are made directly to creditors.
Remember that the trustee CANNOT give you legal advice. That is what we do! If you have a question about your case please contact us immediately. Do NOT email the trustee with questions or requests.
How to Read Your Hearing Notice
After your case is filed you will receive a court notice. Please click HERE to see a sample notice with explanation.
How to Pay Filing Fee Installment
If you did not pay your full filing fee upfront when you file then you will need to pay your court filing fee DIRECTLY to the clerk of bankruptcy court. This is NOT your trustee payment so don’t confuse the two.
Your installment payment is due 30 days from today and then the balance of the fee is due in the next 30 days.
You need to make your installment payment to the Clerk of Bankruptcy Court (NOT YOUR TRUSTEE or TO OUR OFFICE). It may be easier to just wait until your court date and then just go to the Clerk’s office and make the payment since you will there for your hearing anyway!
You will receive a notice of installment payments and If you have ANY questions you can call the clerk of bankruptcy court at 404-215-1000. Our office has NOTHING to do with these fees so make sure you contact the bankruptcy court IMMEDIATELY.
You can either MAIL your payment by money order or you can make the payment ONLINE at this LINK.
